Homemade Spa Treatment for Dry, Cracked Feet

Adapted from “How to Get Dry Skin Off The Bottom of Your Feet”

Supplies Needed:

  • Warm Water
  • Epsom Salt
  • Toothbrush
  • Emery Board
  • Vitamin E Oil
  • Socks

Steps:

  1. Fill a bucket with warm water (not hot) and 1 cup of epsom salt. Allow the salt to dissolve before placing your feet inside the bucket. Soak feet for 30 minutes.
  2. After soaking for 30 minutes, remove feet and scrub gently with a toothbrush to remove all loose, dry skin. Skin should be very easy to remove. Rinse feet with water and pat dry with towel.
  3. Once excess dry skin has been removed, take emery board and gently go back & forth on the area that is affected. Keep doing this until there is no more dry skin. Once again, rinse feet with water and pat dry with towel.
  4. Once you have done all the steps above, take the Vitamin E oil and rub on the affected areas, or all over feet. Put socks on to keep the oil on feet. Repeat oil process for at least 5 days. *Note: It must be Vitamin E oil, not cream.
